Mexico City

Capital of one of the best international destinations for incentive tourism, Mexico City is undoubtedly the ideal option to forget the office and the day-to-day paperwork, its cultural and historical richness, as well as its exquisite gastronomy are just the preamble of this adventure.

It would seem that time in Mexico City is just another word in the vocabulary due to the architectural cocktail it offers us with its modern buildings, archaeological vestiges and colonial architecture, achieving the impossible, the eras merge and transport us through time as we walk through its streets.

"Mexico City is also the capital of art and glamour thanks to the variety of museums it offers to the public, it also ranks nationally and in Latin America as the most important economic cente".

A multifaceted metropolis

Beyond being the capital of a megadiverse country, Mexico City is also the capital of art and glamour thanks to the variety of museums it offers to the public, it also ranks nationally and in Latin America as the most important economic center and, thanks to its venues that offer magnificent facilities to hold events from 100 to more than 20 thousand people, it is also the ideal destination for business trips or national and international incentives.

Geographically speaking, the city is surrounded by mountain peaks and two volcanoes, Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, which sometimes appear to give an exquisite landscape and unforgettable views; and also during the winter season in the Ajusco area you can appreciate the snow-capped mountains, however due to its orography the city offers varied but homogeneous climates.

And accompanying the enjoyable city climates, Mexico City is home to a great cultural load thanks to the countless number of colonial precincts it has; one of the main ones is the Palacio de Bellas Artes, inaugurated in 1934. Inside the building we can see the wonderful pieces of the famous muralist Diego Rivera among other artists, however, the beauties of this building are not limited to this, inside the precinct it is also possible to delight our senses with the folkloric ballet of Amalia Hernandez, which, with its presentations on weekends reminds us of the musical, choreographic and artistic richness of the different regions of Mexico.

But if we are talking about musical pleasures, Plaza Garibaldi is undoubtedly the ideal place to enjoy the traditional mariachis, dressed in typical costumes and carrying their musical instruments, which will make the experience of visiting Mexico City a memorable one.

"And accompanying the enjoyable city climates, Mexico City is home to a great cultural load thanks to the countless number of colonial precincts it has."

"Teotihuacán is undoubtedly a must stop in any visit to Mexico; if a hot air balloon ride while enjoying the views and landscapes."

What is the first thing we think of when we hear Mexico? On many occasions, archaeological, ancient civilizations and temples... And one hour away from Mexico City we find Teotihuacan, "The city where the gods were created", also known as the 1st Archaeological Zone recognized as such and which later became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site is undoubtedly a must stop in any visit to Mexico; if a hot air balloon ride while enjoying the views and landscapes is not enough, the majestic pyramids of the sun and the moon invite you to recharge your energy and walk through the corridors of what was once one of the largest cities in Mesoamerica.

"The diversity of flavors that roam the streets of the city will be the icing on the cake in any visit."

When it's time to mangiare: a whole gastronomy to enjoy

If delighting our eyes with the intrinsic experience of the city has not been enough, the diversity of flavors that roam the streets of the city will be the icing on the cake in any visit.

And when it comes to popular dishes, anyone can imagine tacos of any variety and with an undeniable flavor... But being in the city? Tacos de pastor. It is said that they were created by Lebanese immigrants in the 19th century; also known as "tacos de trompo" because of the shape of the set of thin fillets strung on a metal rod that rotates slowly nestled in a vertical grill, where a pineapple is crowned at the top end that dresses the meat by pouring its juice, undeniably, these trompos are part of the landscape of Mexico City because this ambrosia can be found throughout the day in any corner.

"Thus, a visit to Mexico City is undoubtedly a set of experiences that make an unforgettable adventure."

Being Mexico one of the main corn producing states, it is to be expected that its dishes derive in different forms of this cereal, such as "elotes", its vendors are an icon of the city. This classic delight of the capital can be found with boiled or roasted corn cobs nailed to a pointed stick for the diner's tasting, seasoned with lemon or chili powder, it sounds simple, but it looks postcard-worthy.

And for those with a sweeter tooth, churros are the ideal dessert to end any downtown tour, accompanied by a Mexican chocolate at El Moro. Founded in 1935, this legendary churrería has witnessed figures such as Octavio Paz enjoy its exquisite churros; with 9 branches in Mexico City it has become the most famous churrería in the metropolis and a must-visit experience.
