DMS Mexico at IBTM Americas 2023: Setting the stage for the wonders to come
From September 12 to 14, within the framework of IBTM Americas, the DMS Mexico team as usual collaborated at various levels in the exciting experience that this event represents for participants belonging to the meetings industry worldwide.
The day before the start of the event, DMS Mexico was the official sponsor of an interesting activity for Hosted Buyers from countries such as the United States, Colombia, Uruguay and Mexico, which, taking advantage of the proximity of the dates, focused on giving participants a slight taste of the cultural and historical importance that one can encounter in a single corner or monument in the city, which can take their events in the country to another level and that there is no better way to understand than by experiencing it firsthand.
Later, during the official dates of the event, Tania Ruiz, the renowned Business Development Director of DMS Mexico, was personally attending appointments with buyers inside the official Mexico City booth; from where surely more than one new success story of an interesting corporate program that decides to take the beautiful Mexico City as its stage will emerge.
On Friday, April 21, the PCMA LABS Mexico training meeting organized by PCMA Mexico Chapter was held in Ciudad de Mexico with Óscar Cerezales, Chief Strategy Officer and Global VP of MCI Group as speaker. This event was sponsored by DMS Mexico and our CEO Eric Alvarez participated in this meeting.
In the early morning the activity "Dawn in Xochimilco" was held and then a breakfast in Arca Tierra.
Eric Alvarez, our CEO has assumed on Saturday February 18, 2023 as the new National Vice President of Operations of the Mexico Meeting Tourism Association (ATR).
In previous years Eric Alvarez had served as President of PCMA Mexico Chapter Mexico and President of the Mexican Association of DMC AC - Amdemac AC.
