The alternatives that will allow you to have a different incentive in Mexico City

Adventure Tourism in the City

A Natural Protected Area with an extension of 2,429 hectares of forest southwest of Mexico City, it has a 26 kilometer network of amazing ecotourism trails where different activities can be carried out in parallel. At the beginning of the tour you can visit the remains of what gave rise to its name, Los Dinamos, the four buildings that gave life to this hydroelectric plant during the Porfiriato.

Then let yourself be seduced by the incredible landscapes framed by the oyamel trees and while you perceive the perfume of the pine trees that fit perfectly with the amazing Magdalena River, the only "living" river of the capital, the soft sound of its streams will accompany you during a hiking session, main activity of this wonderful place while you enjoy the observation of hummingbirds, a set of elements that invite you to connect with nature and envelop the senses. During your tour you can witness the various species of reptiles that have made their home on the banks of the river.

Immersed in the forest is the Xun Kaab apiary, a project dedicated to the conservation of bees and with the purpose of pollinating the forest. Thanks to its 11 hives they can raise thousands of bees, which produce a delicious honey that you can buy at the apiary.

If you are passionate about archeology, La Coconetla canyon is the favorite stop for you, it is here where a civilization much older than the Mexica, founders of Tenochtitlan, settled. From the top, thanks to its viewpoints, you will be able to visualize nature and its extension through the Dinamos. In addition, you can do activities such as rappelling, fishing and horseback riding.

Getting out of the ordinary

It is difficult to think of Mexico City as a destination without contemplating in the itinerary the ostentatious Palacio de Bellas Artes or a visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum, even a stop at the archaeological site of Teotihuacan is common in this type of plans. However, what is recognized worldwide as one of the largest cities in Latin America offers experiences that are out of the ordinary in terms of urban incentives.

Mexico City has more than 100 museums, however, if your incentive plan is a little more bold and unusual, we can recommend certain options that will motivate the integration of your team and will fill you with lasting experiences that will strengthen the bonds.

"Let yourself be seduced by the incredible landscapes framed by the oyamel trees and while you perceive the perfume of the pine trees that fit perfectly with the amazing Magdalena River, the only "living" river of the capital,"

"Undoubtedly an ideal alternative if your intention in this incentive is team building, a different concept to what a city incentive is usually, lasting and transcendental for its participants."

An Incentive worthy of science fiction

Have you ever dreamed of being part of a crew dedicated to safeguarding planets? Or being in the deep sea where teamwork is essential for your survival? Each experience is different, usually lasts 60 minutes and encourages participants to communicate and organize their resources, and teamwork is the key to success as a team.

It also contributes to greater productivity, encourages participants to develop a solution to problems and promotes resilience, as well as more assertive and effective communication.

However, the advantages go beyond the group's performance; it allows the detection of relevant employees and builds stronger work teams. You also have the incredible opportunity to receive feedback in which you will be given to know their strengths, performance and areas to work on, benefiting the group and the company.

It is undoubtedly an ideal alternative if your intention in this incentive is team building, a different concept to what a city incentive usually is, lasting and transcendental for its participants.

"If you are looking to enjoy architecture, Mexico City is the ideal destination for a tour, the variety of periods collide through the streets of this beautiful city."

Not just colonial buildings

If you are looking to enjoy architecture, Mexico City is the ideal destination for a tour, the variety of periods collide through the streets of this beautiful city and besides the Palace of Fine Arts, you can find buildings recognized by Forbes that are a delight to the eye for those who wish to see them.

Located in the heart of Mexico City, the Metropolitan Cathedral is the most outstanding icon of Hispanic American art, its majestic proportions frame the north side of the Zócalo; it is a must-see and a feast for the eyes because its interior and exterior are a perfect harmony of baroque, colonial and neoclassical styles.

A few streets away from this ostentatious cathedral is located the building that made history by withstanding the earthquake that struck Mexico City in 1985, the Torre Latinoamericana, its glass and aluminum facade was an innovation when it was inaugurated. Its observation deck is the classic activity, however, on the 41st floor is the Miralto restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner at 182 meters high.

Moving to a more contemporary era, the Soumaya Museum is located in the heart of Polanco and has become the icon of the cosmopolitan neighborhood, its geometric exterior is covered with 16,000 hexagonal and mirrored steel tiles, which throughout the day reflect the sun's rays giving the museum different views depending on the viewer's point of view.

"The Metropolitan Cathedral, the Torre Latinoamericana, and the Soumaya Museum demonstrate the diversity and richness of the City's architecture."

Tourism in Mexico City can always be a surprise, it offers more than museums and restaurants, from an adventure through the forest where you will forget the office paperwork while listening to the river running to an experience where you will be immersed in a scenario worthy of a science fiction movie. Or, perhaps a tour in which you will see the history of Mexico through its buildings and how the diversity of styles, from baroque to avant-garde, coexist with each other and create the enjoyable metropolis that Mexico City is today.
